Background

Mac is a handsome and charming cat who came into care when he was trapped at a community cat feeding station while Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) volunteers were busy with Trap-Neuter-Return projects for community cats. He was so badly matted that he was limping due to fur pulling on one of his back legs, so once in RCR's care he was shaved to give him some relief. Once he was feeling better, Mac proved to be a very tame, sweet cat who was happy to be with people and to get some TLC.

This lovely boy is very much a lap cat who will snuggle with you all day if you let him! He adores attention from people and likes to be involved with everything his foster family is doing. He adapted well to the large dog and other cats in his foster home and likes to play, especially with catnip toys. Mac is doing great in his multi-pet foster home, but he would also be fine as an only cat as long as he gets lots of cuddles. Mac is definitely the kind of cat that wants to be with (and on!) his people.
