Background

The lovely Marissa came into RCR care when a kind lady heard a ruckus in a downtown alley caused by a truck pulling away with peeling tires, and then the sound of a cat crying. Despite the late hour, she ran down to the alley to see what was going on and discovered Marissa, alone and scared.

She took Marissa home and discovered her to be an exceptionally sweet and gentle cat, especially good with the 10-month baby in the home. Sadly, the rescuer was not allowed to have cats in her rental but she realized Marissa’s potential to be a loving cat companion to someone, and contacted RCR for help.

Marissa is a loving and easy-going young cat who loves people and loves to be loved. She is gentle with kids and gets along well with the other cats in her foster home. Marissa eats well, is well behaved and is an enjoyable cat to have around. She is a great fit for almost any type of cat loving home.
