Callie’s background

I’m Callie and me and Antonio have found our way back to RCR. Unfortunately, my loving owner was faced with health issues and couldn’t care for us anymore. I’m a tabby calico who knows the value of a cuddle. I’m a bit shy, but once I’m comfortable I make myself at home in your arms, in your bed, in your lap, anywhere really.

I believe in manners and am a very well-behaved, gentle feline. I don’t mind sharing my home with other cats and even dogs. I’m not keen on young children though as I don’t like to be grabbed. If you have a home for me (and maybe Antonio, too?), I’d be very appreciative of your forever hospitality. Thank you kindly.

Maisie’s background

Maisie was a surprise rescue for an RCR volunteer who raced to help when her father discovered the scared and emaciated cat hiding in his shed. The volunteer was able to coax the cat into a carrier and get her to safety, where we learned that Maisie was a mature female cat with no identification. No one claimed Maisie so she is now on the hunt for a forever home that will keep her safe from the streets forever.

Maisie was a bit shy at first as she recovered from her scary time on the streets, but she quickly warmed up to her rescuer and foster mom, snuggling right into her arms, almost as if holding on for dear llife. Maisie is an easygoing and gentle cat who enjoys being held and brushed. She is very affectionate.with people she knows and would make and excellent cat companion for someone seeking a quiet and mature pet. Maisie has a soft, pretty coat and beautiful calico markings. She will require regular brushing to keep her coat soft and smooth.
