Background

A kind young couple were busy doing yard work on a beautiful spring day when a handsome and friendly little cat made his way into their yard, hungry and persistently trying to get inside. They made some inquiries in the neighbourhood and reached out to Regina Cat Rescue for help when they couldn’t find an owner. When Hootie wasn’t claimed, he was placed in foster care and is ready for a home of his own.

Hootie  is a handsome little guy with pretty green eyes and a sleek black coat. However,  it is his amazing personality that makes him a favourite of RCR volunteers. Hootie is friendly, affectionate and easygoing. He adjusted quickly to his foster home and is slowly making friends with the resident cat. He’d be fine as an only cat, as long as he gets lots of attentions and cuddles.

All adoption fees and sponsorship donations contribute towards veterinary care and other costs associated with caring for Regina Cat Rescue rescued cats and kittens.
