Background

Darrah is a pretty and petite young cat who came into RCR care last summer from a busy street overrun with stray cats in need of rescue. She was very shy at first, and we weren't sure she would be adoptable. Thanks to a loving foster family who gave Darrah the time and patience to feel comfortable in a home, this sweet girl is now ready for a forever home of her own.

Darrah is a brave and adaptable cat who has made an amazing transformation during her time in foster care. In the beginning she was scared and hid from everything, but she has now become the biggest cuddlebug in the house. Although she’s still a bit skittish with loud noises, she is becoming more curious and brave every day. Darrah would do best in a quiet home as an only pet with a human who will give her lots of love and attention. She is fostered with other cats, though, and can adjust with a gradual introduction, per best practices for pet integration.
