Background

Ruffles and his family were a harrowing rescue for RCR after we were contacted by a couple of concerned citizens who were worried about an abandoned house that appeared to be housing at least one cat in need of help: http://www.reginacatrescue.com/blog/2023/8/harrowing-rescue-yields-tiny-family-into-care

Regina Cat Rescue was recently contacted by a concerned citizen who spotted a cat in the window of an abandoned, boarded up house and was worried that the cat was trapped in there.

It was a bizarre and concerning situation but an RCR volunteer was able to access the property and rescue a mama and her litter of 5 kittens just days before the property was demolished. The little family has thrived in foster care and Ruffles is ready for a loving forever home of his own.

Ruffles is a sweet, playful and amusing kitten. He loves to run, wrestle and play with interactive toys or sit in the cat tree. Ruffles enjoys being cuddled on your lap, receiving tummy rubs and snuggling up on the bed. He would thrive in a home with another cat to play with.
