Background

Sweet Silas showed up suddenly on an acreage just outside of a Regina bedroom community. While the family was providing care for him, they were in the process of moving and reached out for help to get Silas into a longer term foster home. Silas has been quite happy to be safe and sound indoors and is ready to light up the life of a lucky adopter.

Silas is a very affectionate and cuddly cat with people. He has adjusted well to life in his multi-cat foster home but would love life as an only cat. Silas loves to play with catnip toys, tunnels and to watch the world go through a window perch. He is a talkative little fellow who enjoys just laying on his humans and taking in his new life. This includes his love of food and he’s packed on a few pounds. Silas likes to be held, cuddled, petted or resting his head on your shoulder. His time as a stray has made him wary and he will need a gradual introduction to other pets. Silas is best suited for a home without young children or toddlers as he has been known to nip at times when over-stimulated. If you’re interested in Silas:
