Thumbelina

Adopted April 21st, 2011

Thumbelina is one of several cats recently rescued from a desperate situation in a small town where a strict by-law limiting the number of pets was passed, leading to the need for several cats to find new homes immediately or risk being removed from her home to an uncertain fate.

Thumbelina is a 6 month old female kitten who has been spayed and has up-to-date vaccinations. She is a brave and feisty little girl who had to fight for any food she managed to locate before she was found. She also has a swirl (curled tail) tail as it appears it may of been broken at one time and she lost part of her tail, further evidence of the hard life she had prior to being taken in by a kind lady who looked after her.

Thumbelina has pretty colouring, with longer dark brown fur and paintbrush flecks of orange on her body. She loves to come and cuddle in bed at night and poke at your face to let you know she is there. She would be a wonderful new addition to anyone’s home.
