Mary

Adopted August 30th, 2011

These two teeny-tiny calico babies are Mary and Magdalene, 5 week old kittens who will be vaccinated and ready for adoption for the September long week-end.

We jokingly call Mary and Magdalene our immaculate conception kittens, because they shouldn’t have been conceived. The male cats in the home are sterilized males and the cats are strictly indoor cats, however, their mama still managed to get pregnant due to a rare anatomical issue in one of the males that resulted in an ineffective neuter.

So, we now have these two sweet kittens up for adoption and are seeking kind and loving homes for them, either separately or together. Mary is the one with the white nose and black around her eyes, while Magdalene has the black stripe down her nose. Both kittens are very snuggly and affectionate, and are good with other cats and dogs. They are used to lots of handling. They are very similar to their mama cat, and we think they will be petite cats like her when they are grown.

Please note that when adoption kittens through PFA, it is a condition of adoption to have them sterilized at the age of six months.
