Background


This incredible handsome fellow was found out wandering the highway near St Josephs. A PFA volunteer spotted Joey on several occasions and quickly realized he needed some help. When he was rescued, Joey was so severely matted that he had to be completely shaved in order to alleviate the pain caused by the mats.

Though life has obviously been less than kind to Joey, he is still a very sweet fellow who just wants to be loved. He quickly won over the staff at the vet clinic, along with the PFA volunteers who went to visit him until he could be released. Joey is now settling in at PetSmart and winning the hearts of the staff there too. With his gentle nature, and happy spirit, Joey will make a great addition to any family.
