Background

Cairo was a stray cat with no ID upon rescue. Although he was already neutered, he was mistaken for an unspayed  female and was anesthetized and was opened up for a spay surgery that didn't materialize. Cairo was posted on lost / found pages with no claims and was placed in foster care where he has fit in well to a busy multi-pet home.

Handsome Cairo has one goal in life and that is to be your best friend! Cairo is very friendly and adores cuddles from all humans

(men, women and children). He loves being brushed, which is a necessity to prevent mats in his soft, long coat. Cairo has proved to be a pretty chill cat and is coping well with the dogs and other cats in the home who show varying degrees of acceptance. Overall, Cairo is a gem of a cat who loves to cuddle and be around people.  He will quickly avail himself of any available lap, purring, giving kisses, and even enjoying belly rubs which adds to his charm. Cairo is sure to delight his lucky adoptive family.

Background

Beau and Otto are sweet kitties who sadly landed back in RCR care after many years in an adoptive home due to the owner's health issues. They were originally rescued as wee kittens from a car dealership that found themselves in the unusual position of housing a little cat family! They reached out and were placed into foster care where they thrived and went on to forever homes.

Sadly, Beau and Otto have been surrendered back to RCR due to their owner's health issues. They have adjusted well to life in their new foster home and are ready, willing and waiting for the true forever home they need and deserve. These sweet boys were shy at first as they adjusted to a new environment, but soon proved to be sweet, friendly and affectionate lads that are good with the other cats in the home. They have truly been a delight to their kind foster family.

Gender: Female
Age: 15 years old
Breed: Domestic Short Hair; Black
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinations: FRPP
Other vet care: Deworming and ear mites treatments
Temperament: Spry, friendly and affectionate
Other Info: Good with other cats. Kenga is remarkably healthy for her age but is in the early stages of kidney failure and on a renal diet.

Please include either the cat's name or the url for this page so that we appropriately direct your kind donation.

Background

Poor Kenga is a sweet senior who has experienced more turmoil in her "golden years" than she did in the first 10 years of her life, but she is a trooper! Surrendered back to the rescue 6 years ago, Kenga was meant to be a long-term foster for a kind person in need of companionship. They enjoyed 5 happy years together before he had to go to assisted living. Thankfully, another kind soul stepped up to foster Kenga and she continues to do very well.

Kenga is a sweet, affectionate and laid back cat who has rolled with the cards life has dealt her. She would love life as an only cat, but is doing just fine with the other cat in her foster home. Kenga is not overly active and enjoys chilling in a cozy spot and accepting pets and cuddles. She is simply seeking a cozy and quiet home and above all a stable home where she can finally enjoy life as a golden girl!
