The height of busy season is here and it's filled with constant cat rescues, daily feeding routes, nightly trapping sessions, countless vet runs, weekly bingo shifts, adoption profile ad writing, photo shoots, events, planning meetings and much more. We've never seen our volunteers so busy!

We know everyone is feeling the pressure with so many cats in need during this demanding time of year, so we want to take a moment to thank every volunteer who is contributing their time and skills to RCR's rescue efforts. Whether you are on the front lines or working behind the scenes - you're making a huge difference in the lives of Regina's abandoned cats and kittens.

Here are some of the achievements volunteers have accomplished in 2015 so far:

Rescued 240 cats (108 kittens & 132 adult cats)
Coordinated 185 adoptions
Spayed 78 tame female cats
Neutered 86 tame male cats
TNR'ed (trap, neuter, release) 12 feral cats
Planned and executed 11 fundraising projects/events
Participated in 4 adoption events
Sold 87 RCR t-shirts
Worked 26 bingos
Posted 283 images on Instagram
Tweeted 459 times
Currently caring for 139 cats in 64 active foster homes

And there's still more to come! Volunteers are cooking up the following events, projects and partnerships to carry RCR through the rest of the year:

Adoption Events. One is right around on the corner on August 15 followed by others on Sept. 12-13 and November 14-15.
Queen City Marathon. RCR is running an aid station at this year's QCM. If you want to help RCR and support the athletes by handing out water and refreshments, let us know!
Feral Cat Shelter Making Bee. Working together to help ensure Regina's feral cats stay warm come winter.
National Feral Cat Day. Support ALL cats in our community by celebrating National Feral Cat Day with Regina Cat Rescue.
RCR Hoodies and Zip Ups. Pre-order hoodies and zip ups just in time for colder weather.
RCR 2016 Calendars. Another year and a brand new calendar!
Fall 2015 Fundraising Dinner. You know them and love them! Join us at Bocado's for another fundraising dinner on Sept. 30.
Partnership with Rebellion Brewing Co. Any beer lovers out there? Stayed tuned for a special promotion later this month.
Online Fundraising Auction. A new way to raise money to fund RCR's rescue work.
Partnership with KSP Technology. RCR's been "adopted" by KSP! They're helping out with IT support and projects.
Annual In Good Taste Fundraiser. Just in time for the holidays!
