Bingo Volunteer

Purpose

As a Bingo Volunteer for Regina Cat Rescue (RCR), you will help us meet our fundraising goals by selling bingo game paper, sealed tickets and/or Nevada tickets to bingo players.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to bingo players promptly to sell paper, sealed tickets and/or Nevada tickets

  • Calculate and receive payment from bingo players and give correct change

  • Respond to bingo winners promptly to indicate card number to bingo caller and pay correct cash prizes

  • Communicate with coordinator to ensure adequate paper is available for timely purchase

  • Respond to management and player requests appropriately and politely

Time Commitment

  • Completely variable, entirely dependent upon the number of scheduled bingos and the volunteer’s availability and desire

Age Requirement

  • Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older

  • Commitment to RCR’s mission

  • Mathematical and organizational skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

  • Ability to act with a high degree of manners and cordiality

  • Ability and desire to connect with a wide-ranging public to create a collegial atmosphere
