Communications Committee Member
/Purpose
As a member of Regina Cat Rescue's (RCR) Communications Committee, you will help us promote the organization and support its various initiatives through strategic communications activities.

Responsibilities
- Contribute ideas for communications initiatives and materials
- Help develop an annual strategic communications plan
- Assist with writing, editing, updating and design of RCR communications, including the organization’s website, social media, annual newsletter, e-bulletins, news releases, brochures, posters, educational displays, and other materials
- Provide the board with advice and feedback on messaging and issues management
Time Commitment
- Availability via email for consultation and feedback (approximately 5 hours per month)
- In-person planning meeting once per year (2-3 hours)
- One-year commitment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Commitment to RCR's mission
- Experience in strategic communications management, social media, writing and editing, layout and/or media relations
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
