Background

Marigold and her litter mates were found outside the municipal office in Grenfell this past spring.  Taken to a home in the town, the kittens should have been on their way to wonderful homes, however, mother nature had other plans in mind.  During the flash flooding at the end of June, the woman who’s home the kittens were staying in ended up flooded and she sent out a desperate plea for help from RCR.  With foster spaces available, and a foster mom traveling past the town, Marigold and her siblings were picked up and placed in foster care.

Marigold is a suck from the word go.  This little girl would much rather be snuggled with her foster mom than playing with the other cats in her foster home.  No matter where her foster mom is in the house, Marigold will follow her so she can snuggle up and come bed time Marigold is curled up right beside her foster mom.

Marigold will occasionally decide that a ball with a bell or a feathered toy is worthy of her attention and will play for a brief period of time before seeking out her foster mom for more lap time.

This little girl is the perfect fit for someone looking for a lap cat to keep them company.
