Background

Smartie was spotted wandering the streets on a frigid winter day during the deep freeze over the Christmas holidays. A kind family took him in and provided food and warmth, then contacted RCR for help in getting him a forever home.

Smartie is a very wise young guy. He likes to play and is very curious! He loves to spend his day keeping a careful watch of everything happening outside, the birds, squirrels and leaves blowing around keep him very entertained! He is slowly being introduced to the other cats in his foster home and is adapting well. He is also best friends with his brother M&M and he likes to wrestle and snuggle with him. He's very happy to snuggle with his people too. He's looking for a loving home where he can live a life of luxury and no longer worry about being outside.

Smartie is a very friendly, playful cat who is great with other cats and would thrive in a home with a cat he can befriend. He is very energetic and loves to play, but he has a mellow side too and enjoys attention from the children in the home. Smartie is great with children and would do well with a young family that ideally has a feline friend for him to play with.
