Background

Leroy is a true heartbreaker that was discovered at a community cat feeding station suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection due to the onset of cold temperatures. RCR was contacted on his behalf when a volunteer observed his poor health condition and was concerned for his safety. Leroy was rescued by another RCR volunteer who just happened to be on the patrol for another cat. He was in the same alley at a feeding station. It just happened to work out that Leory also got rescued the same night. Leroy went to a foster home thanks to a kind family who took him in on short notice and opened her heart & home to him. Leroy came into care with a severe cold (upper respiratory virus), ear mites and malnutrition. His one ear is damaged by frostbite which adds so much character to this very sweet boy! Leroy is a grateful soul who is now healthy and ready for a home of his own.

Leroy is the full meal deal who is good with people, dogs and other cats ( with gradual introduction). He is a friendly and grateful cat who has suffered more than any young cat should ever have to but he is a sweetheart who brightens the life of his foster family every day.
