Background

Stella is a pretty but timid young lady who was found living under the deck of a caring citizen. Stella was in rough shape while living outside and was not trusting of humans.  With winter coming, her caregiver did not want to see Stella struggle on the street so a plan was made for her to be trapped and relocated to an approved farm home. Stella was successfully trapped but when she went to the vet to get spayed and vaccinated, she had a serious uterine infection known as pyometra and would likely have died on the street if she wasn't rescued.  Thankfully, Stella made a full recovery, and with a little bit of time she proved to be a very affectionate and loving cat to her foster mom. She is on the hunt for a forever home.

Stella is timid with strangers at first but eventually, with a little patience, she warms up. She is loyal and protective of her foster mom and doesn’t like to share attention. She isn’t too fond of other cats in her foster home but she does tolerate kittens.  Stella is so excited to live out her life in a warm cozy home and will guarantee you a lifetime of gratitude with rubs, purrs and affection. Stella will make the most cherished companion as she works through her trauma from the streets. She would do well in a quiet, mature home. Her foster family has grown very fond of her and recognizes that Stella was not meant for the streets but to live her life out in a warm and loving environment. Stella is a very special cat that will bring years of joy to her lucky adopter and the one that gives her her second chance.
