Background

Leila is a pretty and precious little lady who was facing a precarious life on the streets at an RCR feeding station after being discovered potentially abandoned. She and her siblings were gradually trapped by a dedicated volunteer and placed into foster care where they thrived. Leila has been a labour of love but is ready to move on to a forever home of her own and is the last remaining kitten in need of a home.

Leila is a stunning little cat whose  green eyes are sure to draw attention from any cat lover!  Leila is the smallest and shiest from her litter but she is now ready for adoption and a family of her own. Leila loves to play with any cat wand and will always take the opportunity to have a nice stretch on the cat scratcher. She was a big fan of her siblings who have now been adopted,  but has adjusted well to being an only cat and would do great in both situations. Also, Leila has slowly gotten used to the small dog in her house. She would do good in a home with a dog who understands boundaries as she likes her space and may let out a little growl if the dog is too close, but on other occasions she will stand right next to her foster’s dog as well. Leila's Favourite treats are the catit creamy sticks and small pieces of chicken, although if you shake a bag of any hard treat she will come running for them! Leila is a very curious kitten, and loves to sniff the phone while her foster tries to take photos. She is an expert in stealth and will pop up when you never knew she was nearby, but she also is discovering her voice and has a large array of meows, you’ll never hear the same one twice! Leila is still quite shy but will come into her people's  lap for treats and pets. Loud noises and new people are still quite scary for her though. Leila isn’t fond of being picked up, but with the help of treats she should get there eventually. She will need someone patient who’s willing to spend the time to bond with her and help her feel comfortable - but you will be rewarded with a lifetime of love.
