Background

Moxie and Sprite, like so many other kittens were abandoned by the first and only home they knew. Late one evening someone dumped the kittens along with several others in the parking lot of a local business. Thankfully an employee spotted the kittens and contacted RCR for help getting them homes. When they first were scooped up they were cold, thin and terrified of people, but with a loving foster home they have both overcome many of their fears.

Moxie is a persistent cuddler. She loves attention and loves to be at the center of everything you do. She is shy at first but warms up quickly. She loves to play and games where she uses her hunting instincts are her favorite.

Sprite is still uncertain of new people and situations, but once she trusts you she is affectionate and loving. She loves to play with anything that moves, and that included her sister as well as the other cats and the dog in her foster home. Sprite has developed a strong bond with her sister Moxie and relies on Moxie to give her the courage to try a new situation. She takes a little time to get over her fear of new people but if you’re patient she will come around.

These girls love affection and with patience they will be the perfect fit for a family with children. Though it would be great to see the girl adopted together, they are available for adoption separately to a loving and patience home who will give them the time and space they will need to adjust to their new situation.

Adoption fee: $100(each) or $150 for both

All adoption fees and sponsorship donations contribute towards veterinary care and other costs associated with caring for Regina Cat Rescue rescued cats and kittens.
